The Armstrong County Hunting & Fishing Club or PONY FARM, as it is most widely known as, is proud to be the areas largest complete shooting sports facility. We offer our members a wide variety of activities year round. Indoor/outdoor archery, 3 lit traps, seperate indoor 22 rifle range, black powder course, rifle range, pistol range, fishing pond, 100+ acres, and a 120' x 50' main clubhouse that can be rented for your functions throughout the year.
If Archery is your interest, members have year round access to our basic outdoor target range 10-50yds. Or there is a 14 target feild course were you can walk our wooded trails and shoot our target bales with marked yardages for reference. We also offer members the opportunity to shoot the areas largest indoor archery range with 20+ lanes shooting over 30 yds located in our main clubhouse. PonyFarm is also host to several outdoor and indoor 3d shoots.
The facilities 3 lit traps provide its members young and old with the opportunity to learn the sport of Trap Shooting with the help of our very experienced members. If you are an experienced shooter you can tune your skills during our "open trap" practices.
Our main clubhouse houses a seperate NRA approved 50' indoor 22 range that has been home to the Pony Farm Rifle League and has been since 1935. The clubhouse kitchen provides various food including pizza and wings for its functions. We also rent our main clubhouse hall to public along with a smaller facility that also has a kitchen and restrooms. It can be used for various get togethers.
We hold several Black Powder shoots throughout the year on a fun and challenging walk through course. Our grounds also provide a rifle range and a pistol range that can be used anytime of the year. We also have a members only fishing pond with bluegill and bass. Our 100+ acres are here for you to enjoy hiking, hunting, or fishing the stocked trout stream that has an area for youth and handicap to access more easily.
